Game Won't Launch

Symptoms: tModLoader crashes on startup or won't open at all.

Solutions:

  • Update .NET Framework: Install version 4.7.2 or newer from Microsoft (see installation guide for details)
  • Verify Game Files: Right-click tModLoader in Steam → Properties → Local Files → Verify integrity
  • Run as Administrator: Right-click tModLoader.exe → Run as administrator
  • Check Event Viewer: Look for error messages in Windows Event Viewer

Mods Not Loading
